The Assessment Widget is on the data dashboard. First choose a student group to see a lists of assessments and assessment sets that have scores for members of that group, then choose the targeted assessment or set.
The Single Assessment view is a bar chart listing each student's performance on the assessment. Scores are sorted by performance level. Levels that are not of interest can be hidden from display, and students achieving a particular level can be added to a group for further analysis. If there is strand data available there is a link to it, and the parent and child data is displayed as an assessment set.
The Assessment Set view displays student performance on a series (or otherwise related set) of assessments in a grid. Click an assessment to filter out performance levels, or use our advanced ordering, sorting, and filtering tools to target just the types of scores that are of interest. Create your own custom assessment sets or choose from one of our many system-generated sets.
The District View enables deep analysis of student assessment performance. View student disaggregation on enrollments (such as which schools they are enrolled in, or which teachers they are enrolled with), on demographics (like gender, language, or ethnicity), or on service/program enrollment (such as bilingual education, special education, or Title 1 reading). Students with a particular assessment performance and with other shared characteristics can be added to a group for later analysis.
The Item Analysis chart enables the deepest level of assessment performance analysis. It shows student performance on individual questions. The data can be displayed by learning targets. It shows question passages, answer choices, group percentages for each question, and student performance on questions. Correct answers are marked with a green check and incorrect answers are marked with a red x. Clicking on a red check shows the answer that the student incorrectly gave. The chart exposes distractor answers as well as other interesting item-level performance trends.
